Namaste Perfect Flour Blend

This is a great product! It is perfect for baking, and it even has the xanthan gum already in it. (So convenient!)

It's a great deal, too. If you want to check it out, you can do so by clicking here. (It comes in a pack of 6)

If you want just one bag, you can get it by clicking here. A 48 ounce bag is about 11 dollars. I think that's a pretty great deal!

Ronzoni Gluten Free Pasta

My mom sent this pasta to me recently. I was a little hesitant to try it, because in my experience, gluten free pasta is either really good or really bad. I was afraid of it being really bad.

As you know, I love Trader Joe's pasta, and there about two other brands of gluten free pasta that I love and will eat. (I am a picky eater.)

So the other day, I decided to break this pasta out and try it.

The verdict?

It's great! You should try it and see what I'm talking about. I love the fact that I can now add another pasta to my list of "good ones" I can buy. I think this brand is even at my local grocery store, unlike the other brands I love.

If you want to try it out, or have any questions about the ingredients, or if you're looking for recipes, you can check out their website here.

Udi's Gluten Free Pizza Crust

These pizza crusts by Udi's are a go-to option for me when I want pizza, but I don't want to spend a fortune to order it from a restaurant. These are thin crust pizzas, and they have a great taste to them, and they hold together well. They seem like what a gluten-filled thin crust pizza would be.
These crusts are also dairy, soy, and nut free.

I would highly recommend these pizza crusts to anyone.

If you don't have them in your local grocery store, you can order them here

The Pure Pantry Wholegrain Dark Chocolate Cake Mix

Wholegrain Dark Chocolate Cake Mix - Click Image to Close
I know I've posted about cake mixes on here before. This cake mix is a little different from the others. This cake mix is not only gluten-free, it is also free of refined sugar, dairy, soy, nuts, and eggs

This cake is very delicious. My only complaint about it is that it is very crumbly. I made cupcakes with it, and I had to eat them over a plate because they fell apart so easily. However, I would still recommend this mix because the flavor is just that great.

If you'd like to see the ingredients in this mix, you can find it here.

Sticky Fingers Bakeries Meyer Lemon Gluten Free Scones

Oh. my. gosh. You guys. If any of you have been looking for a scone mix, this is the one to try. As I am writing this, I am also devouring one of these scones. The batter by itself is good... (you only have to add water and oil to the mix; it's so easy to make!) and I probably just had my day's worth of calories already by sneaking the batter.
The lemon really adds something to the flavor. Mmmmm. So good.
These are mouth watering.

These are fluffy and not too sweet.

If you want to try them out, you can order them here
If you've had these before, tell me what you think of them! Leave a comment.

Shirley Mugging! Chocolate Brownie Cake

You know those microwaveable desserts that you can buy at the store? Well, Shirley offers gluten-free microwaveable desserts now. I recently tried the Chocolate Brownie Cake mix.

This tastes more like a cake than it does a brownie.
I would recommend this product, but I would alter the directions it gives you.

The instructions say to add 1/4 cup chocolate chips to the mix, and then to add some to the top after it comes out of the microwave. IGNORE THIS. This makes it overpoweringly chocolate chipy, and you can't taste the cake at all when you get about halfway through because there are way too many chocolate chips.
I would add about 10 chocolate chips inside it, and then put some real frosting on the top. The chocolate chips alone weren't cutting it for me.

As long as you make the changes that I suggest, I think this could be a very delightful little treat.

Gluten Free Pantry Favorite Sandwich Bread Mix

My grandma gave me this bread mix last month and I've been hesitant to try it... mostly due to the fact that every other gluten-free bread mix I've tried was a complete waste of time. They were all nasty. Today I decided that I would just make it.
I don't have a heavy duty mixer or a bread machine, so I used my own two hands (and a wooden spoon) to mix the dough. I was a little worried when I let it sit for 35 minutes and it never rose. I stuck it in the oven anyway. Well, I guess it didn't need to rise in the pan because (to my relief) it rose plenty in the oven. I pulled it out, cut it, and put a big slab of butter on it, and guess what? I really liked it! I would recommend this mix to anyone. I would just say to not expect the dough to rise much (or at all) before you put it in the oven.

Betty Crocker Gluten-Free Baking Mixes

One of the first truly delicious gluten-free goodies I ever had came from a Betty Crocker Gluten-Free Mix. It was so good in fact, that I was afraid it wasn't really gluten-free.

Each of these mixes produces a delectable gluten-free treat. I only have ONE complaint. My complaint is that the cookie mix (while delicious) produces cookies that are thin and fragile. I have better success making my own cookies from scratch with Jule's flour.

I have no complaints with any of the other mixes. My favorite mix happens to be the devil's food cake mix.  The other day I made cupcakes from the yellow cake mix, and I think I made a wise decision not to add frosting, because I gobbled those bad boys up so fast.

I've seen these mixes in practically every grocery store I've been in, so they are pretty accessible. If you'd like to check them out online, here's a link:

Annie's Rice Pasta and Cheddar Mac and Cheese

How many gluten-free macaroni and cheese brands have you tried? How many of them did you actually like? I have tried several and (being the picky eater that I am), liked none. They all had something wrong with the texture and taste of the pasta, and their cheese topping was seriously disgusting. However, there is ONE brand that I not only like, I LOVE! That would be Annie's Rice Pasta and Cheddar Mac and Cheese. The pasta is delicious and the cheese tastes like Kraft's mac and cheese!
It's pretty easy to find in your local grocery store, but you can also buy it online. I got this picture from Amazon.com where you can buy it also.

Bisquick Pancake Mix

This post is for all you pancake lovers out there. Bisquick's gluten-free pancake mix is the perfect alternative for gluten-free pancakes. My husband says he likes these better than "regular" pancakes because they don't fall apart as easily as glutenous pancakes do. The taste and texture is great. So go out, get yourself this pancake mix and make yourself some pancakes! You won't be disappointed. Trust me.

Bob's Red Mill Cornbread Mix

This is a GREAT gluten-free cornbread mix. I honestly can't tell the difference between it and regular cornbread. Okay, well the last time I had gluten-filled cornbread would have been back in 2007... but my husband says he can't tell the difference either! This is a winner!

Looking For a Good Gluten-Free Flour Mix? Look No Further!

Jules Gluten-Free Flour is PERFECT for baking, and it already has the xanthan gum mixed into it, so you don't have to buy it separately! You can substitute one cup of her flour mix for one cup of wheat flour in any recipe you have. It works great, and tastes great, too!
(This is a picture of 3 items that were ordered from her website after they came to me in the mail. In the package are gluten-free oats, gluten-free flour, and a gluten-free cake mix.)

If you want to check out her website, she has some great recipes there and some great products, too! Her website is: www.julesglutenfree.com
